Dojo Supporters

Volunteers

The Dojo can only run thanks to the hardwork and dedication of our amazing volunteers. Dojo sessions are led by Craig, John, Sarah and Tom, 4 people who all work in, teach or have a passion for technology and coding. Along with Geoff, John & Tom are also trustees of the charity, looking after the more formal side of things like governance and grants.

If you'd like to volunteer with us please get in touch! Anyone can help, you don't need to be a coder!

Funders & Donors

Talking of money! Selby CoderDojo, like all CoderDojo's is completey free to attend - we don't want money to be a barrier for any young person accessning our activities. This does mean we need to find alternative sources of funding and equipment. Depending on the activities we run through the year, it can cost up to £2000 per year to run our activities and replace key equipment.

We'd like to say a massive thank you to the following people for the donations and grants of funding or equipment so far:

  • S & J McAtominey
  • Northern Rail Customer and Community Improvement Fund
